Short Film (2017)

Writer / Producer / Director

After discovering that the iconic cartoon that catapulted her voice acting career into stardom is undergoing a revival without her, Gloria, a 50-year-old voice actress grappling with adversity, embarks on a daring journey within the fiercely competitive realm of voice acting. Determined to reclaim the role that is rightfully hers, she learns to celebrate her unique voice and the path it has paved.

This was Kendall’s junior year film at Chapman University. The film is filled with Chapman cameos, was her first project she ever built a set on a soundstage for, and stars a professionally-trained house fly (who was quite the diva). It lead to a fun partnership with her and the lead actor Jimmy Seargeant (‘Levi’), who went on to be a co-producer on the feature film, When Jeff Tried to Save the World.
